Nick and Kathy are based
in the Highlands of Scotland but travel extensively in the UK and abroad.
Nick has worked
with horses in various difference disciplines and circumstances almost since he left school. He initially
learnt his riding in Germany and returned to the UK to gain his equine teaching qualifications. He has
competed event horses in the UK for many years, although the horses that we now breed, will compete mainly in dressage.
Nick is a Certified
Practitioner and Field Instructor with the Association for the Advancement of Natural Horse Care Practices (AANHCP) and is
also the OCC Coordinator, International Practitioner Affairs for the AANHCP.
While Nick
has been involved with horses for some 25 years, including teaching and competing in the UK and overseas, Kathy is by comparison,
relatively “green” having only taken up riding seriously some 15 years ago.
Kathy has a qualification in
Equine Massage, an area that has been of interest to her for a long time, dating back to her competitive athletic years!
