Bulgaria
Nick will be visiting Bulgaria in September to demonstrate the natural trim and give horse owners help and advice in keeping their horses barefoot.  Nick will be giving three days of demonstrations.  The visit has been arranged by Carole Beckett, please contact Carole for further information on Nick's visit.

AANHCP Public Day - Denmark
Jaime Jackson the creator of the "natural" or "wild horse trim” (based on his observations and research of wild mustangs in the 1980’s) spoke on natural horse care, natural hoof care and the wild horse model at this seminar.  The public day seminar followed the completion of the European training course held in Denmark during August at the facility of Louise Bach-Holler, Nick gave a presentation on his own experiences of the Paddock Paradise way of keeping horses.

Lithuania
Nick and Louise Bach-Holler an AANHCP colleague from Denmark, held a very successful day-long seminar on "Natural Hoof Care and Natural Horse Care based upon the Wild Horse Model", for veterinarians, veterinary students, farriers and horse owners at the Lithuanian Veterinary Academy (LVA) in June.  The seminar was followed by demonstrations and advice on individual equines.  The visit was arranged by Professor Jurate Sabeckiene, DVM, MSc, PhD from the Lithuanian Veterinary Academy (LVA).

Northern Ireland Visit

AANHCP European Training Clinic
Following hot on the success of the European Symposium, plans are well underway for the first ever AANHCP approved Training Clinic to be held in Europe in 2010.  More details along with the latest news on the improvements to the AANHCP Training programme can be found on the AANHCP website.

The AANHCP first ever European Symposium in Germany in November was a great success, with a great programme of presentations from practitioners.

Barefoot Italia
The Barefoot movement in Italy is going from strength to strength and I was honoured to join their annual barefoot gathering in October, it was a great success and the numbers of AANHCP Practitioners and students within Italy continues to grow.

South Africa & Namibia Visits
Following Nick's visit to South Africa and Namibia in 2008, where he gave a series of demonstrations and lectures on the AANHCP method of barefoot hoof care and natural holistic care.  Nick will be returning in March 2009.

The Association for the Advancement of Natural Horse Care Practices (AANHCP), held an extremely successful conference in Reno in February 2008, which included a visit to the BLM Corrals.  Plans for the next conference are already underway including one in Europe!  Watch this space.  The above pictures show live wild horse hooves.
